In this class, I’m teaching you how to color and shade anime drawings.
We start the class by going through some basic yet so important features of layers and folders and also dive deep into clipping masks and how to use transparency lock efficiently. After we’ve gone through the basic features, we go through some important concepts about how to color and shade anime eyes, briefly tackle how to color anime clothes, after which we explore how to shade different objects.
When the fundamentals are covered, we are ready to move on to coloring and shading the example drawing provided in the projects & resources section of this class. The coloring and shading process starts with us applying base colors to the drawing, after which we delve into the wonderful world of cel shading.
After cel shading, we discover different ways to do lighting and the ever-so-important finalization effects on your drawing.
The coloring and shading principles taught in this class are suitable for beginners, but there are more than likely some neat tricks and tips even for the veterans to learn.
